For their first Holiday scratch off game, the New York Lottery wanted to take a stand and let people know they had more ways to make the holidays wonderful. And who better to spread the word than some slightly off, yet seasonally optimistic ornaments.

We loved our little ornaments so much we decided to take them off the tree and release them into the wilds of NYC for a few adventures that we distributed across New York Lottery’s social channels.

After launch our ornaments across social, we brought the fans of the campaign into the world of the ornaments in a larger way. We held a contest across their social channels where users that upload a photo of their favorite ornaments, entered them for a contest to win free scratch offs. The results as we say varied.
